Girl Power Spring into Fashion Show
The Girl Neighborhood Power program hosts an annual spring fashion show that highlights area girls’ and young women’s achievements along with the spring fashions.

Mother’s Day Brunch
On Mother’s Day the center hosts a brunch for area community members to honor their mothers. In 2001, we celebrated with a brunch and recognized mothers in attendance.

Father’s Day BBQ
The Sunday afternoon of Father’s Day VCNC hosts an outdoors BBQ for people to come celebrate together and for fathers to be honored in our community.

School Supply Giveaway
The Monday before school begins, VCNC provides school supplies to area children and youth. Each year we give away more then 150 bags of supplies.

Baseball and BBQ

In partnership with the Madison Mallards VCNC hosts a pre-game tailgate and tickets to the baseball game.

Easter Egg Hunt
The Saturday before Easter, the VCNC hosts an outdoor Easter egg hunt and Easter basket giveaway. In 2001, we provided over 150 baskets.

Turkey Basket Giveaway
Each Wednesday before Thanksgiving, the VCNC distributes over 50 Thanksgiving baskets that include all the fixings needed to make a complete holiday meal.

Holiday Party
The Thursday or Friday before winter break the VCNC hosts a party—it includes craft making, cookie decorating, a special dinner and a small gift for program participants.
